Book a Surgery with Dr Al Pinkerton MP
If you live in Surrey Heath and need support with a personal issue, public service, or concern in your community, you can request a confidential one-to-one appointment with Al.
🗓️ What is a surgery?
A surgery is a private meeting between you and Dr Al Pinkerton. These sessions are designed for personal or local issues, not party politics — and are one of the most direct ways to raise something with your MP.
📧 How to book
To request a surgery appointment, please email:
👉 al.pinkerton.mp@parliament.uk
In your message, please include:
- Your full name
- Your contact details
- Your full address (to confirm you live in the constituency)
- A short summary of what you’d like to discuss
This helps the team understand your case and make best use of the appointment time.
🔄 What happens next?
Surgeries can be oversubscribed. If there are no slots available, you may be offered a call with one of Al’s experienced caseworkers. Caseworkers will:
- Gather the details
- Review any relevant documents
- Ask follow-up questions
- Report back directly to Al
You’ll still receive personal support — even if it starts with a phone call.
📝 Before your appointment
Sometimes, Al’s team may begin background research or contact third parties (like service providers or government departments) in advance. This helps us give you a more informed response during your appointment.
♿ Accessibility and special requirements
Please let us know in your initial email if you have any accessibility needs or additional requirements, and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
⚠️ Please note (Disclaimer):
- Urgent or time-sensitive cases are prioritised
- The more detail and context you can provide, the faster we can help
- I cannot assist with matters outside my remit, including planning issues, private disputes, financial disputes, or court decisions. MPs cannot provide legal advice or intervene in legal proceedings.
If you’d prefer to engage in other ways, keep an eye on our surveys and petitions section on this website, or follow Al on Facebook to have your say on current issues.
